New York Governor Andrew Cuomo gives the go-ahead for shopping malls to reopen this week, but only if they enhanced HVAC air filtration systems in place that are capable of filtering coronavirus particles from the air.
Champlain Centre, the mall in Plattsburgh, has one of those filtration systems, and planned to reopen on Friday. The mall has 51 stores that employ more than 900 workers.
