Beyond the Peaks is more than just a film festival—it’s an opportunity to have your work seen by a wide audience, gain recognition for your talent, and compete for prizes. Winning films will receive awards and top entries may even be featured on Mountain Lake PBS!
Quick How-To Submission Tips
If you’ve competed in the past, you’ll notice some small changes to the submission process on Launchpad this year.
- Sign into your Launchpad account and review all the required activities in your category.
- Most materials can be uploaded to the platform directly. Some can be submitted as a URL link. Choose which is easiest for you!
- If an activity has an “Add” button, be sure to click that before the “Submit” button to properly attach your file or link.
- Your final film must be submitted as a link, not uploaded directly. You can use Vimeo, YouTube, Dropbox, or other websites to host your video.
Make sure the link is publicly viewable—not set to private—or judges can’t view it. - To finish your submission, don’t forget to complete the Google Form by clicking the “Submit Entry” button on the last activity page.
To check if all your materials have been correctly uploaded or linked, click the “View Film” button at the top of any activity page to see a real-time version of your project. This is what the judges will see.
