Their synergy, developed over almost 40 years of creative partnership, brought a unique and cohesive vision to the stage.

I think Bob and I have a unique and complementary partnership. We have known each other for almost 40 years and had done many musicals together prior to working as co-directors for The Lyric Theatre Singers. We each bring our own strengths and styles together to create something that ends up quite cohesive in the end. Although it is a huge challenge to create and conceive a new show year after year, we inspire each other,” said Burns.

The production featured an ensemble cast of 40 talented performers from diverse backgrounds, each bringing their own enthusiasm and vocal prowess to the meticulously curated numbers.

From touching ballads to toe-tapping tunes and show-stopping performances, Broadway Dreams delivered an energy packed show that was highly entertaining.

The audience were tearing with laughter with the group’s rendition of “HELLO” from the musical ” The Book of Mormon” and they were swayed by the romance of “Come what May” duet from Moulin Rouge.

Supporting this grand vision were designers Amber Hood (Lighting) and Rob Denton (Sound), who once again brought their expertise to the production.

The Singers were accompanied by a talented group of musicians, including Chris Barillaro (Keyboard/Synth), Levi Dover (Bass), Guillaume Pilote (Percussion), and Matthew Souaid (Woodwinds/Reeds), with rehearsal pianist Chad Linsley completing the musical ensemble.

It was very obvious by the standing ovation the troupe received at curtain call , that those who attended the Lyric Theatre Singers’ Broadway Dreams experienced a night of musical magic, being swept away by Broadway’s finest melodies…
