Those in need can feed their families with the help of the emergency Plattsburgh Interfaith Food Shelf at the Plattsburgh United Methodist Church on Beekman Street in the City. The food shelf counts on financial donations to purchase food from the Regional Food Bank in Latham, which is then given out free-of-charge to families/individuals in need. Coordinator Dorothy Latta talks about the new set-up that allows recipients to remain in their cars and pick-up food outside the church.
