America's Largest Classroom

Mountain Lake PBS has always been a safe haven for kids. MLPBS is dedicated to supporting educators and students in the classroom and families at home with PBS educational content focused on national and state standards. After 40 years, we still are, television with the best kids programming available, online with shows, games, and resources proven to help kids learn, and in the community with events that connect media with real-life learning.

From the U.S.-Canadian border and throughout the North Country, MLPBS has focused on helping families in the community prepare their children to enter kindergarten, continue with success and confidence throughout their years of schooling, and beyond the classroom by providing free online apps and games and off-screen activities on early learning. Educational assets are also available through PBS LearningMedia, PBS Play Dates, Author Visits and various other educational resources to help guide families and educators in furthering children’s learning and development.
