Lake Invaders

This week we talk with two experts about the on-going battle to keep invasive species out of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Park. Meg Modley, who is an Aquatic Invasive Species Management Coordinator with the Lake Champlain Basin Program, and Brendan Quirion, who is the Program Director for the Adirondack Park Invasive Plant Program, join us to talk about efforts to combat the spread of invasive species. Another invasive species that’s wreaking havoc on Lake George is the Asian Clam, which has now spread to about 20 locations in the lake.
