Lights, camera, action! Get ready for a night of glitz and glamour at the Beyond the Peaks Student Film Festival Awards Celebration!

Join us at 7 PM on Saturday, June 3rd as we recognize the exceptional achievements of our local student filmmakers in a red-carpet showcase. Arrive early to walk the red carpet, enjoy a selection of student films up on the big screen and celebrate our young filmmakers as they accept their well-deserved trophies on stage. It’s all happening at the historic Strand Center Theatre in downtown Plattsburgh, NY.

About Beyond the Peaks

Mountain Lake PBS is proud to present the fourth Beyond the Peaks Student Film Festival — a festival celebrating creativity and amplifying youth voices across our region through film and digital storytelling!

The Beyond the Peaks Film Fest began in 2019, launched by AdkAction together with Tupper Lake Central School District aiming to expand opportunities for local youth interested in digital storytelling. The festival was named for the Adirondack area students reaching “Beyond the Peaks.” Moving into the 2022-23 school year, AdkAction sought out a trusted partner to continue this work. Mountain Lake PBS is proud to carry on the tradition as the festival’s new home.
