Indie Rootz Records proudly presents ‘The Dark Side of Venus’: An All-Female Tribute to Pink Floyd & Fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer Canada
Get ready for a unique musical event that will take your breath away and support a great cause!
Indie Rootz Records presents The Dark Side of Venus, an all-female vocal version of Pink Floyd’s iconic album, The Dark Side of the Moon.
This project is dedicated to the memory of Brian Kotler’s little sister Donna, who passed away last year from ovarian cancer. The album launch is set to take place this Thursday, May 11th at La Sala Rossa, Montreal.
The album features an array of talented vocalists from various musical genres, including R&B, Opera, Hip-Hop, and Reggae. The lyrics are given a modern twist, addressing contemporary issues such as political corruption, right to life, and right to death. The album will be available on all digital platforms from May 12th, 2023.
The Dark Side of Venus is not only a celebration of music, but also a fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer Canada in honor of World Ovarian Cancer Day (May 8th).
Every year, thousands of women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in Canada, and The Dark Side of Venus hopes to raise awareness of this issue and provide support to those who need it most.
100% of the proceeds of the concert are going to the charity, this album launch is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of women affected by this disease.
