The dangerous combination of rain & warm temperatures triggered an ice jam and flooding that seriously damage homes along the AuSable River, displacing nearly 40 residents in the hamlet of AuSable Forks, New York. Several residents were homeless because the flood damage was so severe it left their homes uninhabitable.
