How could an Adirondack opera move a nation?

Creators of “Promised Land: an Adirondack Folk Opera” say the story has relevance across the United States and perhaps even in other countries.  While the work is still in progress, composer Glenn McClure makes sure to give key roles to singers from the Adirondacks as well as voices from elsewhere in New York State and nearby states.

Viewers of these “Spotlight” stories will learn about the creative process behind the making of the folk opera.
