Honoring Black Artistry in Plattsburgh

An art gallery in northern New York celebrates the vibrant and diverse culture found in the black community.

The Strand Center for the Arts in Plattsburgh is showcasing the work of seven black artists, its gallery hosting an exhibit titled Eloquent Visions: Honoring the Rich Tapestry of Black Artistry.  This group exhibition features pieces by artists from New York State and Vermont. 

The show aims to recognize black artists who excel in various media including painting, sculpture, 2D work, and mixed media.
