Historic Reenactments of events from the beginning of the Revolutionary War are underway including a major reenactment coming in just two weeks at Fort Ticonderoga.
We sit down this week with CEO Beth Hill and Curator Dr. Matthew Keagle to talk about recreating one of the very first, and most significant events of the Revolutionary War, the raid on Fort Ticonderoga by Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen and the Green Mountain Boys in May of 1775. Beth & Dr. Keagle talk about the NO QUARTER Reenactment coming up May 9th-11th at Fort Ticonderoga that is part of the REAL TIME REVOLUTION where events are staged on the actual day they happened in 1775-1777.
Fort Ticonderoga is open for the season May 3-October 26, 2025 with the second year of the “A Revolutionary Anthology” exhibit that will show artifacts from Fort Ticonderoga’s incredible collection, including more than 100 pieces that have never been displayed in public.
General admission tickets for daytime programming throughout the weekend (excluding the May 10 evening reenactment) may be purchased online at fortticonderoga.org or at the gate.
Fort Ticonderoga and 17 other historic sites are teaming up to offer the Northern Department Tourism Trail encouraging visitors to travel to sites of major battles and events from The Revolutionary War. Learn more at northerndepartment.org.
