Lake Champlain’s famed lake monster is getting some national recognition, a marker from the Pomeroy Foundation that honors the Champ, the Lake’s legendary lake monster that has been spotted more than 300 times since the early 1800s.
The Town of Plattsburgh has unveiled the sign along the lake shore on Cumberland Head.
