Musicians in motion appear on the walls of the Lake Placid Center for the Arts gallery, performing in paintings by artist Patricia Bellerose of Mont-Tremblant, Quebec. A life-long music lover, Bellerose is inspired by live concerts she has attended at Le Festival de Lanaudiere, the largest classical music festival in Canada. It happens every year in her hometown of Joliette. She also enjoys honoring the Lake Placid Sinfonietta in the Adirondacks where she frequently exhibits her work.
The Together in Harmony exhibit opened in conjunction with a summer of concerts by the Lake Placid Sinfonietta.
Enjoy Spotlight producer Paul Larson’s interview with Bellerose, as well as music from the Sinfonietta here.
The exhibit lasts until September 10, 2022.
You may see the Together in Harmony exhibit at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts from now until Saturday, September 10. The gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday, 1 pm – 5 pm. Head to lakeplacidarts.org for more information.
