Harmonious Holidays: OCM’s Spectacular Handel’s Messiah Extravaganza!

This Holiday season, the Montreal Classical Orchestra (OCM) is delighted to present its highly anticipated annual event: a performance of Handel’s beloved Messiah!

Handel’s Messiah is probably the most performed choral work in history, and, despite being about the whole of Jesus’ life, it is now mainly performed at Christmas. 

Prepare to immerse yourself in the magnificent melodies of the orchestra, featuring a delightful quartet of soloists and a choir that will fill the Basilica of Saint Joseph’s Oratory on Mount Royal with festive joy.

Join us on Wednesday, December 13th, and December 14th at 7:30 p.m. for two enchanting evening.

Under the baton of Maestro Jacques Lacombe, the OCM will be joined by the talented soprano Sydney Baedke, mezzo-soprano Lauren Segal, tenor Antoine Bélanger, and baritone Greg Dahl,.

The esteemed vocal ensembles of Filles de l’île, and Chantres musiciens, will also grace the performance.
