Dr. Seuss put it best, “I am what I am! That’s a great thing to be! If I say so myself, happy birthday to me!”
On Wednesday, March 2nd, celebrate the 118th birthday of Dr. Seuss – one of our favorite authors, poets, illustrators, filmmakers and honorary doctors! Otherwise known as Theodor Seuss Geisel, Dr. Seuss wrote and illustrated more than 60 books in his lifetime.
Dr. Seuss’ work has inspired generations of children, and adults, to let their imaginations run wild. His books and programs open up a world of exploration that makes reading, writing and the sciences fun and accessible for young learners – all while teaching important life lessons along the way.
In honor of one of the most timeless Dr. Seuss characters, The Cat in the Hat, follow below for articles, activities, crafts and games to celebrate this clever cat and all the things he knows about this and about that!
