Great uses for Native American bead amulet bags

“Spotlight” – NATIVE AMERICAN ARTISTRY – BEADWORKER – This is a segment in the Native American Artistry series, produced by Paul Larson, and presented as a “Spotlight” segment on Mountain Lake PBS programs. Mohawk beadworker Terrill Hooper O’Brien discusses how she’s researching the Native American origins of her artistic beadwork. The Native American Artistry pieces are produced by Mountain Lake PBS in cooperation with the New York State Historical Association’s Fenimore Art Museum in Cooperstown, New York. This project is also a partnership with the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services. “Spotlight” is made possible, in part, by the Glenn and Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation, dedicated to improving the quality of life for year-round residents of the Adirondack Park. www.pearsallfoundation.org
