Grant Aids Homeward Bound Adirondacks’ Mission to Help Veterans | MLJ Interview

A $750,000 grant is going to help fund suicide prevention services for Veterans in the Adirondacks. We sat down with Homeward Bound Adirondacks to talk about how it will help their mission to help veterans. We also talk with Executive Director Valerie Ainsworth and HBA Board of Directors Chairman Mark Moeller about the on-going capital campaign to raise funds to build a lodge on property south of Malone to hold year-round retreats for Veterans and their families. Work will begin on the site next year and HBA hopes to have the lodge built and open in about 3 years.
