Governor Cuomo outlined his agenda for the coming year in several online State of the State addresses this week. Cuomo revealed new initiatives to improve the distribution of COVID-19 vaccine, and expanded testing. The rollout of the vaccine has been slow, and this week the state announced it will open eligibility to everyone over the age of 65. The pandemic has created a major hole in the state’s budget, of up to $15-billion dollars. The governor pledged to increase revenue by legalizing recreational marijuana and online sports betting.
