If you’d like to brave seeing an art show in person this month, you may want to visit the Strand Center for the Arts in Plattsburgh, to see the creepy creatures climbing the walls of its gallery.
Painter Jim Kobak says of his work: “Humanity has always had a need for the supernatural. We have always sought mighty and grotesque otherworldly beings to inspire and torment our souls. Benevolent gods and heroes have always been pitted against nefarious monsters and demons. Yet, these creations are simply reflections of ourselves.”
Experience the wonder of “Gods and Monsters” from now until May 28 at the Strand Center for the Arts in Plattsburgh.
