Girl Scouts Find Their True Voice with Actress Alisa Endsley

Members of Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York participated in a vocal empowerment workshop led by stage actress Alisa Endsley. She performs on Broadway and London’s West End. Using vocal techniques often employed by professional actors, Endsley imparts wisdom onto the Girl Scouts about tools they can use to become more confident speakers. She has made it her mission to help these girls find and utilize their authentic voice. The workshop was part of an event at Albany Law School celebrating influential women. Girl Scouts who attended also heard from a panel of lawyers about their path through the law field and the challenges they faced as a woman. They also had a screening of a documentary about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
