Here’s the list of artists presenting indoor shows at the Juste pour rire MONTRÉAL festival:
Yvon Deschamps: The legendary humorist returns for “Le Gala Ultime.” which will include the talents of Normand Brathwaite, Boucar Diouf, Simon Gouache, Maude Landry, Daniel Lemire, Laurent Paquin, and Rosalie Vaillancourt: They will be part of the historic evening on July 20, 2023, at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, Place des Arts.
Rachid Badouri: He will perform “Les fleurs du tapis” at l’Olympia on July 30, a show that reflects on his life and experiences, capturing the essence of stand-up comedy. The performance will be recorded for television broadcast.
Les Denis Drolet: They will record the podcast “Rince-Crème” in front of a live audience.
Jean-Marc Parent: He returns with his unmissable show “Évènement JMP,” presented twice on July 22 and 23 at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, Place des Arts.
Tai TL: The sensation will present “Madame Rekilé!” on July 21 and 22 at Monument-National.
Simon Boulerice: He will give a drawn reading of his novel “Géolocaliser l’amour” on the same dates at Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts.
Arnaud Soly, Virginie Fortin, Richardson Zéphir, and Les Wonder-Trois-Quatre: They will create an extravagant musical improvisation with the audience’s collaboration in “Le grand concert improvisé (Une soirée de succès qui n’existent pas encore)” on July 22 at Maison Symphonique.
Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais: The crowned “Humorist of the Year” at the last Gala Les Olivier, will reveal his secret in “Pierre-Yves Roy-Desmarais a trouvé la meilleure joke” at Centre Bell on July 27.

Montreal is about to witness an iconic revival that’s sure to make waves throughout the city. The much-awaited Just for Laughs festival is proud to present its dazzling summer musical: “Hair.” at Theatre Saint Denis.
This legendary title, celebrating the ‘peace and love‘ movement, is back after half a century, and it’s more relevant than ever before!
A bit of History :
Originally created in 1964 by American actors James Rado and Gerome Ragni, “Hair” faced numerous rejections before captivating the hearts of audience at NYC’s Broadway in 1968.
The following year, the French version mesmerized audiences in Paris, followed by a resounding success in Montreal in 1970.
Its cinematic adaptation in 1979 became an essential reference, catapulting “Hair” to global fame.

Now, in 2023, “Hair” returns in a spectacular Québécois rendition, spearheaded by the visionary Serge Denoncourt. A true celebration of the vibrant 1960s, the musical brings the ‘peace and love’ spirit alive, infusing every scene with nostalgia, joy, and a sense of hope.
