We are so pleased to announce our Passport to Culture Gala coming this fall with a very special guest, Jacques Pépin!

Doors open at 5 PM, program begins at 6 PM.

The event will take place on the historic US Oval, and will feature a special conversation with Jacques Pépin moderated by Mountain Lake PBS’ Thom Hallock. Please join us for a delicious meal, a fantastic conversation, and an evening with like-minded friends in support of Mountain Lake PBS!

EVENT DETAILS

DATE: October 1, 2022
TIME: Doors open at 5 PM, Dinner begins at 6 PM
VIP Hour: For VIP Ticket Holders, the VIP hour begins at 4 PM.
WHERE: US Oval, Plattsburgh NY. A large tent will be situated near the parking lots on the Oval.

TICKETS: You’ll check in at the entry tables with the name you used to purchase your tickets. No physical tickets will be mailed.

DRESS: Cocktail attire

MENU

Mains: Coq au vin, bone-in chicken seared and braised in red wine. Roast pork with braised greens and garlic confit.

Sides: Pomme purèe, Glazed carrots, French Bistro Salad, Mixed Breads

Deserts: Mixed Berry Panna Cotta, Maple Pots de Crème

LODGING

A block of rooms is available to gala attendees at the Best Western in Plattsburgh for a  discounted rate of $135.99, which includes a hot breakfast. To book a room, please contact the hotel at 518-561-7750 ext. 9, and reserve before September 21. These rooms will not be available to book online. You must call the hotel directly.

Proof of vaccination will not be required. Masks are welcome, but not required.  Mountain Lake PBS reserves the right change these protocols to comply with any CDC or New York State guidelines.
