G.O.A.T. Grill giving back to the community with a sporty twist !

LEAD me to the Grilled Chicken !

The recently opened Le G.OA.T Grill , located in St-Henri Montreal, has been recently touted as the new gathering spot for reknowned sports celebrities who come to enjoy fresh off the grill marinated chicken on charcoal inspired by the flavors of Portugal and Angola.

Passionate about sports and good food, founders Gardy Henry and Michaël
Marrache
(above) have developed a unique niche, marrying the values of sportsmanship with their culinary vision to offer dishes made of carefully selected quality products.

Their original culinary concept features Portuguese chicken which is
itself inspired by Angola and Mozambique, two former Portuguese colonies in the
South of the Sahara. This personal touch serves as a signature in their different
versions of marinated chicken made on a grill imported from Portugal.

You can order from a varied menu that offers chicken sandwiches, poutines, salads and other tasty meals served in portions or whole with fries and fresh salad with accompanying amazing hot sauce for in-dining or takeout.

GOAT Grill

By choosing the acronym “Greatest of All Times” as inspiration, the G.O.A.T. Grill team challenged itself to be much more than a restaurant: but to also actively contribute to the community:

Following the recent earthquakes that hit Haiti, the G.O.A.T. Grill and Pour 3
points
decided to join forces. During the months of September and October, at each
purchase of the trios “Number 10″ and the “G.O.A.T.”, 50 cents will be donated to For 3 points and 50 cents will be sent directly to relief aid in Haiti.

“Our chosen name and logo : G.O.A.T. is not just a pretentious empty statement,
but rather a motivation to always lead us to improve and be community leaders,” says Gardy Henri.

I was honored to be invited to the restaurant’s official opening ( soft launch was last January ) that took place in the presence of several sports icons of #MVPGroup such as #PatriceBernier, former captain of the Montreal Impact, #MarieÈveDicaire boxer and former World Champion, #BrunySurin 1996 Olympic gold medallist and #SteveBégin, former Montreal Canadiens player.

GOAT Grill

The G.O.A.T. Grill, located at 4376 Notre-Dame Street West, has an interior seating space of a dozen seats. I was impressed by the beautiful new sports themed mural that leads clients to a cosy flowered backyard terrace.

GOAT Grill

This huge mural pays tribute to some of the greatest athletes of all time such as
Michael Jordan, Muhammad Ali, Patrick Roy, Serena Williams, Usain Bolt, Wayne
Gretzky, Georges St-Pierre, Lionel Messi and Tom Brady
!

Both interior and exterior spaces are equipped with giant screens to catch your favorite matches !

It is always lovely to support a restaurant that has the community at its heart .
