Funds Go to New Pre Kindergarten Classes

Last fall Governor Andrew Cuomo announced $5 million dollars in state funding to offer prekindergarten in 16 high-need school districts across the state, including 4 communities here in the North Country. One of those schools is Keeseville Elementary, where Pre-K program started a month ago. We talk with educators and parents about the early success they’re already seeing. Keeseville Elementary Principal Kevin Hulbert also talks about the Florida School Shooting and the recommendation of placing school resource officers in every school district in the state.
