Check out the 2023 Keeseville Community Arts Festival from July 21 – 22!
The Keeseville Community Arts Festival is a summertime celebration of all things art in the hamlet. Hosted by AdkAction, locals and visitors attending this annual festival will enjoy live music, dance workshops, Color Fun Run, and art demonstrations. Kicking off earlier in the week, plein air—or outdoor—painters from across the nation will be painting scenes in and around Keeseville. For the duration of the festival, a Plein Air Art Show and Sale will be held at Keeseville’s historic Stone Mill on the Ausable River.
2023’s festival will include the return of the family-friendly event, Arts in the Park, located in Anderson Falls Park on Saturday, July 22, 9am-2pm. Local potters, jewelry makers, and Adirondack furniture artisans will sell their artwork and demonstrate their craft. Enjoy a musical performance by Alice’s Fault and food from The Dogfather and Island Vybz.
Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to engage in the arts with free, hands-on activities too! Sign up for youth outdoor painting classes, a tie dye workshop complete with free festival t-shirt, and be sure to pick up a “Welcome to Keeseville” coloring book from the Adirondack Architectural Heritage booth. Use the coloring book to discover Keeseville’s nearby historic landmarks while creating artwork of your very own!
