StoryWalk® is back at Cascade Welcome Center on February 17th, from 10AM -1PM!
Join the Adirondack Mountain Club, Mountain Lake PBS, and the Lake Placid Public Library for a wintry StoryWalk® and family-friendly activities at the Cascade Welcome Center in Lake Placid, NY. Start the day by walking, snowshoeing, or skiing the StoryWalk® featuring local author Kate Messner’s book Over and Under the Snow. Then head inside for seasonal crafts, activities, and a free children’s book to take home, courtesy of the Hallock Giving Library.
The StoryWalk® is outside so come prepared to spend roughly 30 minutes outside in potentially unpredictable weather. Snowshoes will be provided for FREE if needed.
