Free Books With “Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library” for Kids From Birth to Five

Establish a lifelong love of reading in your child with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free, high-quality books to children from birth to age five, no matter their family’s income. These books are specially-selected, age-appropriate and personalized with your child’s name and mailed directly to your home to create a gifting experience that makes books exciting! Through a partnership with the American Printing House for the Blind, books are provided for blind and visually impaired children.

Inspired by her father’s inability to read and write, Dolly Parton started her Imagination Library in 1995 for the children within her home county. Today, her program spans five countries and gifts over 1 million free books each month to children around the world.

Literacy Volunteers of Clinton, Essex, and Franklin Counties (LVCEF) strive to encourage childhood literacy and proudly partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library to enroll children across the North Country in this early childhood literacy program.
