The region is seeing the addition of aircraft manufacturing with BETA Technologies move to the Plattsburgh International Airport where the company is planning a 40-million-dollar expansion.
Wood also talks about how NAmTrans is assisting smaller transportation equipment manufacturers impacted by the planned closure of the Nova Bus Factory in Plattsburgh next year.
Wood says the Chamber is looking for a new manufacturer to move into the Nova Bus assembly plant on Banker Road in the Town of Plattsburgh.
