Extended Interview: Matt Castelli | VOTE 2022

  1. It is refreshing to hear these candidates speak. I support Matt Castelli. He seems to understand the entire district, has traveled the entire district and therefore engaged with constituents near and far. Castelli also has a very good understanding of the diversity of NY21 enabling all of us to see how we can work together in coalition and get a lot accomplished. Castelli is inclusive and not divisive. To stand united is so important for all of us as we seek to maintain our beautiful environment, needs for jobs, healthcare, education and energy. I want to thank him for his hard work and engagement. Castelli’s understanding of homeland security doesn’t hurt a bit. Much of that education that he has helps to bring diverse groups together. We currently have good relations with Canada. We can not expect this will always be and therefore, I prefer this candidate who can and will surely replace Elise Stefanik who has not performed well at all. Stefanik has taken the ‘people’s seat’ in Congress and made it her own. This has not helped NY21 and rather, it has built her into a multi million dollar self serving representative and party before people talking head. Enough we say. Enough.

  2. What do you think of the fact that for the first time in 80 years we will have only a Dem & a Repub on the ballot for Governor because both parties have sued the 3rd parties for taking votes from them and won in court?
