Exclusive Victoria Screening in Hudson

On January 15, a small crowd of lucky guests gathered at Gite 72 in Hudson to watch the premiere of the new series Victoria.

Le 15 janvier, un petit groupe de chanceux invités se sont retrouvés au Gite 72 à Hudson afin de visionner la première de la nouvelle série Victoria.

Hosted by the incredible Miriam (Min) Dunne, the gathering gave the guests an opportunity to show their support for Canadian Friends of Mountain Lake PBS, while eating delicious food by Le

Baron Bites with many in their finest Victorian Sunday best. The challenging game of Downton Abbey Trivia was won by Team Doreen Croll, who were the lucky recipients of a beautiful basket of goodies courtesy of Clarence and Cripps.

The highlight of the evening of course was the premiere of PBS’s new series Victoria. “We can’t wait to see what this young, powerful woman does next. This brings history to life!” said one of the guests. With landmarks such as the Victoria Bridge and the Royal Victoria Hospital right here in Montreal, it is truly our history.

Canadian Friends of Mountain Lake PBS is so excited to be able to bring history alive in your living room. As Terry Girouard of Jewel 107.7 radio said: “My husband and I have watched PBS for years and have enjoyed all the top-quality programming. We love old movies and good

informative and entertaining programs — PBS certainly delivers that and so much more. Mountain Lake PBS is a growing part of our communities. We greatly appreciate the quality programming that you provide for so many. Please keep up the great work!”
