Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Tony Award-winning musical has been warming audiences’ hearts since its debut on television in 1957, starring Julie Andrews.

Filling the tiny glass slippers this summer is Nora Mockus, who says she was over the moon when she landed her dream role as Cinderella. It all started when she first saw Brandy star as the princess in 1997, alongside Whitney Houston as her Fairy Godmother. This was another wildly successful television remake of the R&H musical. Mockus feels she is finally getting the chance to, “live that little girl’s dream”. She hopes audiences, children, and adults alike, will share in her deep adoration for the enchanting story when they see ACT’s production. She encourages kids to come dressed up in their princess apparel too! “I mean who doesn’t want to be a princess?!” Mockus exclaims with giddiness.

Making Cinderella’s life miserable this summer is her stepmother, played by Elizabeth Hebert.  The charming royal who finds himself smitten with the dusty heroine is Prince Christopher, played by Ethan Luoma.
