We’ve told you about curbside concerts this summer, and now the North Country has its first-locally produced, original Drive-in “musical.”

The Book and Blanket Players usually perform on a stage in Keene Valley.  The program gives kids ages eight to eighteen live theater experience after an intense week of rehearsals.  This year, however, the students won’t appear on the same stage. They’re performing the show from their separate homes, and the musical will be edited together for a 2020-style virtual show.

You can enjoy the original Drive-in production called Piano Portal, a 20/20 Time Travel Musical beginning at 8:30pm on Saturday, August 1st, on the grounds of the Bark Eater Inn in Keene, New York.  Admission is free but donations will be accepted.  For more information, head to the facebook page of the Book and Blanket Players.
