Exhibition exploring the wardrobe of Downton Abbey comes to Lake Placid

A new exhibition that opened this week in the Adirondacks is sure to be a hit with fans of the PBS Masterpiece show Downton Abbey. Dressing the Abbey, a costume exhibition showcasing the stunning costumes and accessories from the hit PBS show has opened for the summer at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts.
Whether you’re a fan of the critically acclaimed Masterpiece drama or simply a lover of early 20th century fashion, here’s a chance to see some of the iconic outfits worn by the Crawley Family, their downstairs servants, and the rest of the cast of Downton Abbey. The Lake Placid Center for the Arts will host the exhibit featuring 35 costumes, including hats & jewelry, as well as some very recognizable props from the show.
Dressing the Abbey will be at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts from now through September 10, 2023.
