Last November 17th, Capwood officially inaugurated its highly anticipated, innovative food concept: the District Gourmet, a 40 million dollars fancy food court project, located within the gigantic glass atrium of the QG of Sainte-Foy a borough of Quebec city on 900 Route de L’Église.
This gastronomic hall can seat 600 guests and brings together artisans, twelve restaurateurs, a culinary school and a fresh food grocery store.
From Fusion Asian, Italian comfort food, a French bistro, Mediterrainean to something a little more original, patrons visiting this up-scale eaterie can order either a set discovery menu with several small taster platters from various restaurateurs or order full platters directly from individual restaurants.
Some of the tasty choices include bistronomic dishes from the Atrium, fine Asian cuisine from Thach, Lebanese dishes from Eden, fresh pasta from Fiorella, Portuguese chicken from Grelha Lisboa , Neapolitan pizza from Verace and even customized speciality burgers from the youngest star chef on site , 16 years old Inès with her burger atelier: Burger Mlle Ines!
Ines’ father, chef Eric Gauthier has gained a solid reputation in the Montreal scene with his Atelier&Saveurs cooking school workshops. He also brings his expertise to the District Gourmet by offering regular classes and workshops.

The premises also offers the Carrier fine food market, where you can stock up on groceries and local products. This family grocery store also has a take-out counter where you can find fresh foods and other delicacies already prepared.
The twelve restaurants on premise are surrounded by multiple shops, a hair salon and other personalized services that guests can visit to complete all their shopping needs in one centralized location.
The upper levels of the building are dedicated to private condos, appartments and studios.
