The Dîner en Blanc Montréal 2024 enchanted thousands of guests yesterday September 6th with a captivating evening under the theme of “The Enchanted Forest.” The event, known for its elegance, secrecy, and community spirit, once again delivered an unforgettable night filled with style, gourmet cuisine, and magic.

The Rendez-Vous

In typical Dîner en Blanc fashion, guests gathered at various rendezvous points across the city, carrying their tables, chairs, and meticulously prepared picnic baskets. Guided by a select few volunteers who knew the final destination, no one else knew where they were headed.

The air was filled with anticipation and excitement as participants awaited the reveal of the secret location…. which turned out to be for this 2024 edition : the Place du Canada

Arrival

Upon arriving at the secret site, a stunning wave of white unfolded. Thousands of guests poured in, coming from all corners of the city. In just 20 minutes, what seemed like organized chaos turned into a beautifully set dining scene.

Tables, chairs, and place-settings appeared in perfect harmony, a testament to the coordination and enthusiasm of the attendees. Dinner was just moments away!

The Napkin Wave

As the last table was set, a unified and iconic moment signaled the official start of the evening: the Napkin Wave. Guests waved their white cloth napkins in the air, celebrating the beginning of their shared feast.

The spectacle of thousands of napkins in unison marked the start of what would be an extraordinary dinner.

Le Dîner

Renowned chefs Laurent Godbout and Jérôme Ferrer took the traditional picnic concept and transformed it into a gourmet feast. Under the theme “The Reinvented Picnic,” they curated a menu that was not only portable but also packed with rich flavors and artistic presentation, providing a fine dining experience in an outdoor setting. Guests were treated to memorable dishes that brought together the best of both convenience and haute cuisine.

The highlight of the night was the dinner itself, as guests savored their thoughtfully prepared meals. The “Reinvented Picnic” concept curated by renowned chefs Laurent Godbout and Jérôme Ferrer delighted the crowd, offering a mix of sophisticated flavors and convenient presentation.

Attendees could also craft their own unique dining baskets , from sushi, bagels, caviar to lobster , there was a wide dispora of delicious banquet settings all around the area

As dinner concluded, the night was far from over. Guests lit up the sky – with sparklers to signify the end of the elegant meal and the transition to the night’s next phase—celebration!
