Dean of the Crane Music School Discusses Their Yearly Christmas Concert

Nearly 300 musicians and singers from SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music joined together this past week to celebrate the season performing the Crane Candlelight Concert that has become a treasured holiday tradition not only here in Northern New York, but across the country.

The Crane Chorus and Crane Symphony Orchestra performed two concerts in the Helen Hosmer Concert Hall, including several numbers with Lisa Vroman, the Broadway and opera soprano who is a Crane School alum. The Dean of the Crane School of Music, Michael Sitton, joins us this week to talk about this renowned music school, and the yearly Christmas concert that is broadcast nationwide by PBS stations across America.
