Illumi Laval: Sparkling, magical and now extended until March 13th!
Illumi, with its 20 million shimmering lights and 30,000 monumental outdoor light structures, has been dazzling Montrealers over the past few months as one of the few cultural attractions to remain open despite the pandemic.
This unique, nocturnal 3km drive-through or walk-in experience offers 10 universes with a total of 18 amazing scenes set to thematic music to create a Dazzling World of Lights including an Enchanted Forest, a Jurassic pathway, a Tunnel of colors , the signature Cavalia Horses and other holiday themed scenes such as giant hearts for Valentines month!
Illumi has been extended until March 13th and will be open 7 nights a week for the entire week of Spring Break with date and time-specific ticketing in place to ensure guests are able to maintain physical distancing protocols. A limited number of tickets will be available each night.

Oasis Immersion
Since February 8th Montreal museums have reopened much to the delight of art lovers everywhere. It is now the turn of Palais des Congres to introduce the opening of their new, permanent immersive museum destination entitled: OASIS immersion.
Covering a 2000 m2 space on the ground floor of the spacious Mtl convention center, The Oasis walking experience was created by a team of Quebec designers and entrepreneurs that features a contactless, walk-through experience in seven parts including three immersive galleries, 2 dazzling light installations and a coffee / gift shop lounge space.
Inspirations is the theme of OASIS immersion’s first exhibition: a tonic, energizing and introspective journey inspired by the people, the places and trends that shape our city and that extend to the rest of the world.
Alongside a presentation of the new architectural wonders of the world, hygge-style wellness and comfort and an ode to Quebec’s creativity, visitors will also be invited to relive the greatest mission moments of Canadian Space Agency astronaut David Saint-Jacques while pianist Alexandra Stréliski’s creative journey is portrayed in three immersive scenes enhanced by musical pieces from her latest Inscape album.
Finally, video artist Émile Roy delivers an inspiring tribute to human resilience and action while faced with the hardships and adversity of 2020.

Viennese Winter Ball Ottawa
SATURDAY, MARCH 13th, 2021 from 6 PM EST – 11 PM EST
Music and dance lovers, on Saturday, March 13th, 2021, don your glitziest gown and most dashing tux and log onto Zoom to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the glamourous Ottawa Viennese Winter Ball which promises to be a most unique evening of European glamour, dancing and entertainment.
The Tradition of the Vienna Opera Ball dates back to an 18th century decree by Emperor Joseph II that ballrooms be opened to a wider community.
This year’s virtual Viennese Ball will be hosted by internationally-renowned tenor Ben Heppner and The Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean.
Funds will be raised through sponsorships, an online auction and donations. The Ball will celebrate the importance of music in the lives of all young people. Funds raised will go to support the young people’s activities of the foundation Music and Beyond.
