Hope for a Better World: Beethoven’s “Eroica”

Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal

May 31, 2018

La Maison Symphonique de Montréal

On May 31st, experience passion and genius come to life through music in Beethoven’s “Eroica” Symphony as performed by the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal. Driven by a desire for a more just world, Beethoven dedicated “Eroica” to Napoleon, a dedication removed when, to Beethoven’s disgust, Napoleon crowned himself emperor. The show begins at 8 pm.
