Calling all poetry lovers: for a full week, you can meet with about 200 poets at Festival de la Poésie de Montréal. The festival features about 40 events including shows, poetry book sales, live readings, and more! The festival will take place at Place Gerald-Godin as well as other locations in the city.

Parc la Fontaine
Festival BD de Montreal, also known as Montreal Comic Arts Festival, is back for its 7th year. A diverse community of comic authors and enthusiasts will come together and professional cartoonists will showcase their work. There will be activities such as theatrical improvising, performances, and family events, all having to do with the comic strip genre.
African Days

Ecomusee du Fier Monde
Feel the rhythm of African culture for two days at the Écomusée du Fier monde. Presented by the partner organizations of the Centre Afrika, African Days gives people the opportunity to meet with artists, singers and artisans as well as participate in activities and attend performances.
