Gilles Carle – Shared Heritage

Arsenal Contemporary Art

The late Gilles Carle was both a visual artist and a filmmaker. His films played a large role in shaping Quebec’s identity and culture today. Now for the very first time, his illustrated work is finally revealed to the public. With the help of his former companion Chloé Sainte-Marie, more than 400 drawings and acrylics are on display at Arsenal Contemporary Art- a way to honor the filmmaker and ensure his long heritage for years to come. Interested in viewing his work? go to the Arsenal Contemporary Art website here.
