A D-Day veteran from Vermont, who is turning 100, is flown to Washington by North Country Honor Flight to visit the World War 2 memorial for the very first time. We’ll talk with Frank Spendley about his life and military career. Also, among the veterans who flew to Washington on the two North Country Honor Flights were 4 Brothers from Cadyville & Saranac, New York. All four of the Blair brothers, Chester, Frederick, Larry & Richard, are Vietnam-era veterans, and during the send-off ceremony they held photos of their 4 other brothers who were also in the service. 8 sons, from the same North Country family, who served our nation.
