A major gift to a North Country trade school. The George and Shirley Moore Foundation announced a $25,000 donation to CV-Tec in Plattsburgh.
The gift was given by Moore’s grandsons, Troy & Tanner Baraby, through the Adirondack Foundation. About $15,000 will go toward new tools and equipment for students entering the trades. And the rest will go to the school’s Future Farmers of America chapter.
