Join Mountain Lake PBS and Chef Curtiss Hemm of Carriage House Cooking School for a Cook In inspired by Downton Abbey!

Be transported to early 20th century England in this interactive cooking class, where you’ll learn to prepare a delectable meal fit for the Crawley family! This class is suitable for cooks of all skill levels – from absolute newbies to seasoned foodies. Sharpen your skills alongside Chef Hemm in a virtual class from the comfort of your own kitchen, as Chef guides you through the menu — demonstrating techniques and answering all your questions.

Thanks for hosting this nice event. It was different and a fun way to spend a Sunday evening. Chef Hemm is very entertaining and relaxed about his cooking, so we felt welcome to experiment with cooking in our own kitchen.

This menu was inspired by recipes that could’ve been cooked by Mrs. Patmore herself!

The casual experience was so low pressure, it was great! Learned a lot of helpful techniques.
