Skyscrapers and fire escapes contrast with forests and barns in the photography exhibit “Inhabited Places.” The show features the rural imagery of Saranac Lake photographer Dan Hausner and urban scenes by photographer Brian French of Albany. The two friends created the exhibit for the Tahawus Center Windows Gallery in Au Sable Forks, New York, to celebrate their mutual love of photography, and the very different views they experience in their everyday lives.
Paul Larson produced, wrote and edited this Spotlight piece. It features videography by Michael Hansen and Will Houle, with editing assistance by Jordan Young. Tyler Warner provided production assistance.
Spotlight is made possible, in part, by the Glenn and Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation, dedicated to improving the quality of life for year-round residents of the Adirondack Park. pearsallfoundation.org. Spotlight is also supported by Hill & Hollow Music. hillandhollowmusic.org
