New York Senator Charles Schumer says he hopes to bring a bill to the Senate floor, in the next few weeks, that would dramatically lower the costs of insulin for millions of diabetics, including tens of thousands across Northern New York. The bipartisan plan would cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month for patients, whether or not they have insurance.
