The Clinton County Health Department has confirmed a case of COVID-19. According to CVPH President Michelle LeBeau, the patient is in isolation in the Intensive Care Unit of CVPH.
Per Dr. Wouter Rietsema, infectious disease specialist at CVPH says the patient is a male in serious condition, admitted Saturday night and immediately identified as “highly suspect” case. Dr. Rietsema says that 2 other people are in the hospital pending testing. The hospital has a very limited supply of tests and are only giving them out to patients requiring hospitalization.
