Thousands of kids here in the North Country kids will be getting a gift under the tree this holiday season from the Clinton County Christmas Bureau. The annual toy drive has seen thousands of donations dropped off at their holiday headquarters where volunteers then fill kids’ wish-lists.
The Christmas Bureau’s director, Tammy Perrotte Sears, says they expect to help more than 700 families give their kids a special Christmas.
The presents were delivered this week to the Joint Council for Economic Opportunity outreach centers, which will then distribute them to families throughout Clinton County.
