This Sunday the Dora Wasserman Yiddish Theatre and the Segal Center for Performing Arts are happy to invite you to join in their holiday sing-along!

Following the success of their Lyrics & Latkes Sing-Along, get ready for their first ever Harmonies & Homentashn Purim Sing-Along with two performances on March 24 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

This musical event is fun and entertaining for the entire community and perfect for families who wish to get together and raise their voices in celebration.

Of course all attendees will get to enjoy homentashn treats after the show!

Certainly Not Sullivan Cabaret IX: Challenge Accepted!

Tickets are now on sale for the McGill Savoy Society’s amazing one-night only Certainly Not Sullivan Cabaret Challenge  this Thursday, April 4th at 7:30PM!

With a 2019 theme of Overcoming Challenges, past and current Savoyards unite to present to their adoring fans, friends, families a most memorable musical cabaret – completely devoid of Gilbert & Sullivan tropes and tunes.

Come enjoy a spectacular renditions of songs from recent and classic Broadway hit shows such as Hamilton, Jekyll & Hyde, Man of La Mancha, Avenue Q, The Sound of Music, A Chorus Line and Legally Blonde that speak of survival, the price of chasing our dreams, and the joys of achieving them.

This one-night only event has undergone a multitasking make-over to serve the dual purpose of entertaining the community as well as raising funds for the company’s upcoming season and their up-coming performance of Gilbert & Sullivan’s “The Gondoliers”!

 Raffles and great prizes will be drawn throughout the night!

Doors open at 7 PM; show begins at 7:30 PM.
