Fort Tribute, in Madrid, St Lawrence County, honors Civil War Medal of Honor recipients. Every summer, reenactors and historians bring the era to life. Visitors witness battlefield reenactments, explore encampments, watch a blacksmith at work, and tour a Civil War era field hospital. This July also featured a traveling exhibit of the HL Hunley the Confederate combat submarine. More than 150 reenactors from across the region thrill spectators every year.
